Misericórdia do Porto Church's pipe organ
Built in 1888, reutilizing pieces of previous instruments, by the organ maker António José dos Santos, of Mangualde, this pipe organ is located in the upper choir of the church.
It has a keyboard with 58 notes, 20 "half-stop", tremolo, and a pedal with 13 notes and with a total of 1013 tubes.
This is an instrument with Iberian characteristics, which exhibits a multiplicity of commands and a singularity of timbric coverage, unusual in the Portuguese average size organs of this period.
The body is composed of a neoclassical style carved structure, topped by the emblem of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto.
