Discovering MMIPO
Guided visit | 3 p.m. - 4 p.m.
The visit will serve a mean to reveal a bit of the history of the Santa Casa da Misericórdia do Porto and its institutional purposes. Some works of art that make up the collections of the Museum, as is the case of the Fons Vitae, will be the subject of special attention. In addition to the thematic rooms, the visit includes two spaces: the Igreja da Misericórdia (church), a 16th century building which received a major intervention in the 18th century led by Nicolau Nasoni, and the Gallery of the Benefactors, an example of iron and glass Architecture of the city.
The visit will be in Portuguese and in English. No booking is required; the visitor will only need to show up at 3 p.m.
