Physical and intellectual accessibility is a major concern for the MMIPO, because our highest priority is the inclusion of as many people as possible.
With this in mind, the MMIPO is equipped with a set of resources that facilitate access to the Museum and its contents, which are:
> easy access ramps placed at the entrance of the Museum and the Gallery of Benefactors (ground floor);
> removable access ramp, for access to the Church;
> lift platform for access to the second floor;
> elevator;
> adapted bathroom;
> chairs for visitors with reduced mobility;
> wheelchair (ask at reception);
> room with 4d animation with audio in Portuguese;
> virtual reality goggles for visitors who cannot access the 4 d room;
> audio guides and explanatory panels in Portuguese and English;
> QR Codes with information in Portuguese and English.
Due to the building's characteristics, the only place that can not be accessed by visitors with reduced mobility is the Church's choir.
